Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today released its Power Rankings for the week ending Sunday, February 24th showing the Top 16 teams instead of the top 32 for the first time. “With the playoffs beginning in mid-March, we’ve decided to rank the top 16 teams only for the next remainder of the season,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. These are teams that will definitely qualify for the upcoming playoffs; additional wildcard teams will be added to complete the full roster of teams participating in this year’s run for the ABA Championships with the Final Four scheduled to begin in Jacksonville Florida on Thursday, April 11.

Every game is very important.”
